Just a reminder to all players, present or interested new, that training for SENIORS is every Wednesday at 7pm, at McLaren High School.

There will be a training match this Saturday, 28th August at McLaren High, kick off will be 3pm, all players new and old are invited, please aim to be there for 2pm, everyone will get plenty of game time.

This year is the 20th Anniversary of McLaren Rugby Club.

To celebrate, all club members, past and present, senior or junior,
parents, extended family, school pupils and the general public are
invited to a McLaren RFC 20th Anniversary Fun Day and Fun Run on Sat
14th August.

The Fun Day starts will be held in Callander Primary School grounds
and starts at 11 o'clock.

There will be a wide range of activities for the young and older
including assault courses, bunjee runs, sumo wrestling, gladiator
duel, Zorb racing, rugby skills, crossbar challenge and many more
activities.

There is also a 5K Charity Fun Run starting from Callander Primary
School playing fields which will start at 11 o'clock. The Fun Run will
be in aid of Yorkhill Hospice.

We need volunteers to help run the day, as well as people to bake cakes etc.

More importantly we need support from all at the Club to make this a
fun and successful day for all.

As agreed at the AGM there will be an EGM of McLaren Rugby Club held on 9 June at 7pm in the Waverley Hotel, Callander. An agenda will be posted shortly.

Papers are now out for the AGM at 3pm on 22 May at the Waverley, any Nominations and Motions are required 5 days previous to this date click here

There is one motion tabled for the AGM by the Secretary, there have been no nominations received for any of the Positions. click here

McLaren RFC "Fun Day" will be held on Saturday August 14th - more information to come!!

AGM will be held on Saturday 22nd May at The Waverley Hotel commencing 2.30pm.

Dinner Dance will be on Saturday 17th July at Callander Golf Club - details to follow.

SRU Mini/Junior Level Coaching Courses: The next local Foundation Rugby Coaching Course (Mini Rugby Level) is being held on Sunday 6th June at Forthbank Stadium, Stirling. In addition, there is a UKCC Level 1 Coaching Course (Juniors) on 11th, 12th & 20th of June, to be held at Stirling County. Funding for these courses will be provided by the Club.
