For the past year or so, McLaren RFC have been actively working with Active Stirling, the SRU and Stirling Council to promote Midi Rugby through the McLaren High school teams.

During this time the High School U-15 team managed to progress to the last 16 of the Bell Lawrie Schools Cup Competition. They were one of the last “State Schools” to progress to this stage.

This team was almost entirely made up from former McLaren Mini players, alas, now plying their trade elsewhere. As such, the McLaren RFC have now put in place a viable format to take the Minis to the next level - McLaren Midi’s
