McLaren RFC minis welcomes all children from P3-P7 to join the junior section.

Minis rugby training takes place on Saturday mornings from 09:30am to 11.30am at McLaren Leisure Centre. The season runs from the end of August through to the end of May, however the minis section does not operate during holiday periods and no rugby training takes place between mid December and mid February. Members are grouped into one of three coaching levels (P2/3, P4/5 or P6/7) and are instructed by SRU trained coaches. Training sessions are all about fun, developing team spirit and coaching kids in readiness for fixtures.

Fixtures take place on Sundays and are either played at home or away at other clubs. There are usually 2 fixtures a month, and all members are invited to play.

Children require to purchase their own kit for training. Click to download a kit list. For matches the yellow and black Mclaren Match Strip shirts will be provided on the day by the coaches.

Individual membership is £30 per year, (£50 for families) covering the full season from the beginning of the autumn term through to mid May with a break between mid December and mid February. To download a minis membership application form CLICK HERE.
